Input lag isn’t one single delay, it’s several small delays stacked together across your entire setup, from the moment you press a button to the moment the pixel actually changes on screen. Understanding the full chain is what lets you target the changes that actually matter instead of guessing.

The Full Input Lag Chain

Playing in Exclusive Fullscreen rather than Borderless Windowed mode avoids extra compositor overhead that Windows adds to windowed modes.
